Step-by-step help for setting up your HostingServicesWA email.

EMAIL SETUP

Choose your device or email program

Your HostingServicesWA email can be used on your computer, phone, tablet or through Webmail.

Your standard email settings

We recommend IMAP for most customers so your mail remains synchronised between your devices.

Apple Mail for Mac

  1. Open Mail and choose to add a new account.
  2. Choose Other Mail Account if your domain email isn't listed as a provider.
  3. Enter your name, full email address and email password.
  4. Choose IMAP. Enter mail.yourdomain.extension for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
  5. Use your full email address as the username for both servers and enter your email password.
  6. Confirm IMAP uses port 993 and SMTP uses port 465, with SSL enabled and Authentication: Password.
The exact wording of buttons and settings can vary slightly between macOS versions.

Mail for iPhone & iPad

  1. Open Settings, then go to Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account.
  2. Choose Other, then Add Mail Account.
  3. Enter your name, full email address, email password and a description for the account.
  4. Select IMAP. Enter mail.yourdomain.extension for both incoming and outgoing servers.
  5. For both servers, use your full email address as the username and enter your email password.
  6. Save the account. If you need to check the advanced settings, IMAP uses port 993 and SMTP uses port 465 with SSL and Authentication: Password.

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and choose Add Account.
  2. Enter your full email address. If prompted, choose to configure the account manually and select IMAP.
  3. Set the incoming server to mail.yourdomain.extension, port 993, using SSL.
  4. Set the outgoing SMTP server to mail.yourdomain.extension, port 465, using SSL.
  5. Use your full email address as the username and your email password, with Authentication: Password.
  6. Finish the setup and send yourself a test message to confirm incoming and outgoing mail are working.
Outlook's screens can vary between the Classic and New versions. The server details above remain the same.

Webmail

You can access your mailbox from a web browser without configuring an email program.

Example: https://myexampledomain.com.au/webmail
Replace myexampledomain.com.au with your own domain name.

Sign in using your full email address and your email password.
