EMAIL FORWARDERS

Create an email forwarder

An email forwarder automatically sends email received at one address to another email address. For example, you might have sales@yourdomain.com.au automatically forwarded to your normal email address, without needing to regularly check another mailbox.

1

Log in to cPanel

Open yourdomain.extension/cpanel and sign in using the cPanel details from your Welcome Email.

2

Open Forwarders

Find Forwarders in the Email section of cPanel and click Add Forwarder.

3

Enter the address to forward

Enter the email address on your domain that you would like to forward. If more than one domain is available, make sure you select the correct one.

4

Choose the destination

Enter the destination email address where you would like the messages sent, then click Add Forwarder.

5

Your forwarder is ready

Your new forwarder should now be active. Send a test email to the forwarding address to make sure it arrives at the destination address as expected.

A quick note about forwarders: A forwarder doesn't necessarily need its own mailbox. It can simply receive an email and pass it on to another address. If you're not sure whether you need a separate email account or just a forwarder, please get in touch and I'll be happy to advise.
